After returning to Delhi, when Kejriwal got his test done, he was found corona infected. He told that he is showing mild symptoms. He has appealed to those who came in contact with him to get their corona tested and take precautions.

Actually, corona infection is increasing very fast in the capital. Due to this the infection rate increased from 4.59 percent to 6.46 percent. Corona cases crossed four thousand after 230 days and 4099 cases were reported on Monday, which is the highest since May 18 last year. Last year on May 18, 4482 cases were reported, then the infection rate was 6.89 percent. A day earlier there were 3194 cases of corona.

Therefore, new cases have increased by 28.33 percent in 24 hours. In the last 24 hours, 1509 patients of corona have been cured, but for the third consecutive day, one patient died of the corona. Due to this, three patients have died in three days. According to the report of the Health Department, 387 new containment zones have been created in Delhi in the last 24 hours. Due to this, the number of containment zones has increased from 1621 to 2008.

13,118 cases came in five days

The first case of Omicron was reported in Delhi on December 5. After this, a total of 16,925 cases of corona have come so far. On December 30, the cases of corona had crossed one thousand. Since then, 13,118 cases have come in five days.

infection rate increased by two and a half times

In Delhi, 6.46 percent were found positive in 63,477 samples tested in the last 24 hours. The infection rate was 4.59 percent on January 2, 3.64 percent on January 1 and 2.44 percent on December 31. In comparison to December 31, the infection rate has increased two and a half times in three days.

Active patients are increasing like this

The number of active patients has increased from 8397 to 10,986. The active patients on December 31 were 4410. In this context, about two and a half times active patients have increased in three days. At the same time, there were 3081 active patients on December 30, in comparison, there have been three and a half times more active patients in four days.
