After ‘Bharat’ people have started accepting me as an actor, not a comedian: Sunil Grover

Sunil told during an interview, “Before India, I was working in the comedy genre, but this was an opportunity I give credit to the directors of the film Ali Abbas Zafar and Salman Sir. I have made a special mark in comedy and I have been successful in this genre, but they took a chance on me and gave me this chance.

No longer a character limited to comedy?

The actor said that after India, I started getting such characters which are not limited to comedy only. People’s concept about me has changed and now they have started seeing me as an actor. Sunil shared his experience of working with Salman and told that I have always been a fan of him and when I got the opportunity to share the screen with a big star like him, it was a privilege for me.

Please tell that Salman Khan’s film India was released on Eid this year. Apart from this, stars like Katrina Kaif, Disha Patni, Jackie Shroff worked in it. It was a Hindi remake of the Korean film Odd to My Father. People liked India and it had also made a tremendous income at the box office.
