London, Agencies. The World Health Organization (WHO) believes that locking up cities and countries to defeat Corona will not work. With the lockdown, there will have to be adequate public health measures, otherwise this disease can flourish again. Top Emergency Expert Mike Ryan of WHO told the BBC in an interview that countries cannot rely solely on lockdown to deal with the disease spread from Corona.
Will have to take all public health measures
Ryan said that public health measures will have to be taken to prevent this disease from recurring. We have to first find out the people who are badly ill and infected with Corona. Who came in contact with them will also have to find out. Then all these have to be isolated and treated properly. Ryan said that the danger is also from the lockdown. If we do not know the sick and infected people and start treatment, then in the event of removal of the lockdown, the number of people struggling with this disease can increase immediately.

WHO on critics
It is notable that due to Corona, many countries including Taiwan are criticizing WHO. Taiwan says the WHO failed to warn of the crisis in time. Taiwan says it has alerted the WHO and the International Health Regulator (IHR) on December 31 about the infectious disease that began in Wuhan. It is known that Taiwan has been excluded from the organization because of China’s insistence on disclosing its part.
Did not warn about the horrors
Taiwan officials allege that despite receiving information WHO did not warn other countries of the horrors of Kovid-19. WHO chief Tedros Adhanum has also been criticized for praising Chinese President Xi Jinping. Tedros had said that Jinping did a great job in dealing with the disease
China made a mistake
Experts believe that the Chinese government first tried to defy the matter, but had to accept the severity of the crisis when the situation got out of control. The WHO chief has also been heavily criticized for naming the virus. Taiwanese people allege that under pressure from China, the WHO reduced the risk of the disease in mid-January, but China’s Health Ministry itself reported its horrors on 20 January.
