Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp services restored after seven hours, FB said- We Are Sorry

The widely-used Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp messaging service are gradually returning to normal after long global outage that disabled the Facebook-owned social media platforms for some six hours. The services were disrupted before 9 pm on Monday, were able to resume only after 4 am on Tuesday.

Facebook, the second largest Digital Advertising Platform in the world which has lost around $6 billion Revenue yesterday. More than 50,000 users reported issues with WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram on downdetector, an outage tracking website.

As per the Report: An investigation into the Facebook outage has confirmed that the social network crashed after Mark Zuckerberg tried to access but failed many times.The Facebook has around 2 billion daily active users and was dropped down by 4.9% on Monday.

WhatsApp also said, ‘We know that some people are facing problems in using WhatsApp. We are working towards fixing this. Will be updated soon.
