DDMA may give a decision today on organizing Ramlila in Delhi

The Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) in its meeting to be held on Wednesday may take a decision on allowing Ramlila events and opening of junior classes for Dussehra festival in Delhi. The chief Ramlila organizer of the capital Delhi met Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal on Tuesday and demanded the removal of the ban on this religious program due to the Corona crisis.

In view of the epidemic, DDMA in its earlier order has imposed all kinds of religious, political, cultural programs and restrictions in the capital.

Ramlila delegation met the Lieutenant Governor

Arjun Kumar, Secretary, Luv Kush Ramlila Committee said, “A delegation met the Lieutenant Governor for permission to organize Ramlila. We are hopeful that permission will be given by DDMA. Many private schools in the capital want them to be allowed to run classes from six to eight. School managers argue that the situation of Covid-19 in the capital has improved.
