Fear of Omicron Delhi government bans gathering for Christmas, New Year celebrations

In view of the rapidly increasing new cases of corona in the national capital Delhi and the increasing number of patients of Omicron, any cultural programs have been banned. Apart from this, there has also been a complete ban on Christmas and New Year parties in public places. Christmas and New Year’s parties will not be held in any public places. In this regard, the Delhi Disaster Management Authority has issued an order to the DM and DCP of all the districts. Everyone has been asked to ensure compliance of this order.

In the order issued by DDMA, it has been said that the DM and DCP of all the districts should take appropriate measures to prevent the spread of corona in their respective jurisdictions. People without face masks should not be allowed to enter all shops and workplaces in Delhi. Violators of corona rules should be dealt with strictly.

The DDMA has said in the order that all district magistrates will conduct a thorough survey of the entire area falling under their jurisdiction and identify those areas, markets of colonies and crowded places, which are prone to rapid decision of Corona and Omicron. . It has been said in the order that all DMs and DCPs should make proper arrangements for surveillance in public places so that corona cases can be prevented from increasing.

Delhi government in alert mode regarding the threat of Omicron

Let us inform that the Delhi government has come into alert mode regarding the increasing cases of corona and the new variant Omicron. The heads of the departments concerned have been alerted by the government. Chief Secretary Vijay Dev has asked all the DMs that facilities should be increased immediately if the cases of corona increase, while there should be a complete ban on overcrowded events.

CM Kejriwal will hold a big meeting on Thursday

The Delhi government has said that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has convened a high-level meeting on Thursday to review the increasing cases of corona and the preparedness to deal with Omicron, in which the facilities available for corona patients at present will be discussed. Important decisions can be taken in the meeting, but before this the government has come into alert mode. The government has asked to take strict action against those who violate the rules of corona prevention. Those who do not wear masks and do not follow physical distance, the process of cutting challans will start soon.

Omicron active cases increased to 57

Omicron cases are increasing continuously in Delhi. On Wednesday, three more new cases of Omicron were confirmed. With this, the total number of Omicron cases has increased to 57. Earlier on Tuesday, 24 new cases of Omicron were reported. Whereas on Monday, there were a total of 30 active cases of Omicron in Delhi.

Corona cases are also increasing rapidly

Amidst increasing cases of Omicron, 102 new cases of the corona were reported in Delhi on Tuesday. For the second time in three days, more than 100 cases of corona have come. There were 107 cases of corona in Delhi on Sunday. After this, 91 cases came on Monday.
