In the first qualifier match of 14h season IPL 2021, the team of Chennai Super Kings returned to the winning track by defeating Delhi Capitals by 4 wickets. The CSK team after beating DC reach the final and making a victory as it is the 12th season of Chennai Super Kings in IPL and this team has reached the final for the ninth time.

The journey for the team was not at all looking easy for CSK as they suffered the loss in the last 3 matches of the league stage but they dominated their experience to win the chase for the sixth time this season. After this win, CSK’s has made it to the finals of this IPL, out of which they have already won the title 3 times.

Last Year 2020, CSK could not even reach the playoffs, but this time under the captaincy of Dhoni, there was a drastic change in the team. In 14 league matches, the team won 9 and lost 5, but this time when the team got a chance to play in the first qualifier, without making any mistake, they made it to the final. Earlier, CSK had reached the finals 8 times and won the title thrice. The team has achieved a great victory by achieving the “IPL Title Thrice” and having the highest win percentage of matches among all other teams in the IPL.

In the last over, CSK’s team needed 13 runs in 6 balls to win, and Dhoni made the match to his side by making 18 runs in just 6 balls with the help of 3 fours and a six and won the match by 4 wickets.

Rituraj Gaikwad’s 70, Robin Uthappa’s 63, Moeen Ali’s 16, and Dhoni’s 18 not out played a big role in CSK’s victory. The team defeated Delhi Capitals in both the league matches and also Dhoni without any mistake did the best to beat off Delhi this season.
