Rohit said about Dhoni’s future, made a big statement on India’s captaincy

Among Indian players, wicketkeeper batsmen Wriddhiman Saha and Mohammad Shami have experience of playing Test matches day and night in domestic cricket.

The Indian cricket team will play its first day-night Test against Bangladesh at the historic Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata from 22 to 26 November. Among Indian players, wicketkeeper batsmen Wriddhiman Saha and Mohammad Shami have experience of playing Test matches day and night in domestic cricket. Both players have played day-night cricket in the CAB Super League final at Eden Gardens in 2016.

But now the team opener Rohit Sharma has said that he has experience of playing with the pink ball in the Duleep Trophy and this experience will help in the upcoming day-night Test match. On Thursday, on the sidelines of an event here, Rohit said, ‘I am very excited about the Test match day and night. I cannot say anything about the others, but I have played a match with the pink ball in the Duleep Trophy and I had a good experience of it.

Rohit said on India’s captaincy

Rohit said, “Now the opportunity has come again, then I will try to do well and we will win the match.” Captain Virat Kohli has been rested from the series against Bangladesh and Rohit has been given the command of the team. Rohit said that it is an honor for him to lead the team.

He said, ‘These things are not in our hands. Be it one or 100, it is a matter of honor. I have already captained the team before and I have a good experience of it. I do not think how long I have to remain captain. Whenever I get a chance to captain the team, I enjoy it.

Rohit also refused to speak on the future of Mahendra Singh Dhoni. He said, ‘I have not heard anything about all these things. You are the one telling all these things.
