The Nifty 30-share Sensex (Sensex) gained 458.03 points, or 0.92 percent, to close at 50,255.75. During trading, it went up to 50,526.39 points.
Nifty Shares in the stock markets continued on the third day of Wednesday and the BSE Sensex (Sensex) gained 458 points to close above the 50,000 marks for the first time. The market gained momentum due to all-round gains along with the positive outlook from the global markets.

The 30-share Sensex (Sensex) gained 458.03 points, or 0.92 percent, to close at 50,255.75. During trading, it went up to 50,526.39 points. Similarly, the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) jumped 142.10 points, or 0.97 percent, to close at a record level of 14,789.95. During trading, it reached an all-time high of 14,868.85.
IndusInd Bank was the biggest gainer among the Sensex stocks. It gained about 8 percent. Apart from this, Powergrid, Dr. Reddy’s, Sun Pharma, NTPC, and Axis Bank also have good growth. On the other hand, the loss-making stocks include Ultratech Cement, Maruti, ITC, Kotak Bank, and Asian Paints.
With this boom, the market capitalization of the Indian market is far from reaching above the level of Rs 2,00,000 billion. Among other Asian markets, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng, South Korea’s Kospi, and Japan’s Nikki were in profit while the Shanghai Composite Index was at a disadvantage.
In Europe, major markets witnessed a boom in initial trade. Meanwhile, global oil standard Brent crude rose 0.36 percent to $ 58.01 a barrel.
The banking and IT sectors recorded a boom on 2Fanuary 2021 in the Indian Stock Markets. The BSE Sensex rose about 1200 points. At the same time, NSE’s Nifty closed up 2.57 percent.
Nifty bank, IT, and auto boom
Nifty Bank (Nifty Bank) today recorded a jump of 1178.80 points i.e. 3.56 percent and Nifty IT (2.25 percent) 525.10 points. At the same time, Nifty Auto also closed at the level of 10638.60 with a spectacular increase of 4.01 percent i.e. 410.65 points.
The BSE Smallcap today recorded a gain of 1.59 percent or 292.62 points. Apart from this, the BSE Midcap saw a spectacular growth of 420.80 points i.e. 2.26 percent. In simple words, today an increase has been recorded in every segment of the stock market.
