Navneet Kaur Rana, Lok Sabha MP from Amravati seat was born on January 3, 1986, in Mumbai.
She married MLA Ravi Rana in the year 2011. Navneet started his political career only after marriage.
Earlier she used to work in Punjabi and South Indian films. Navneet studied till 12th only and after that left studies to pursue a career in modeling.
The Kannada language film ‘Darshan’ was Navneet Kaur’s debut film. Debut in politics after marriage In the year 2011, Navneet Kaur married MLA Ravi Rana and decided to make a career in politics shortly after marriage. She contested the 2014 Lok Sabha elections on an NCP ticket but could not win.

But, won the 2019 Lok Sabha elections by contesting as an independent and won the seat of Amravati. After this Congress and NCP also supported him.
Navneet had met Ravi at the ashram of Yoga Guru Ramdev.

In February last month, an FIR was lodged by Navneet Kaur Rana. In which he had said that a threatening letter was found on his North Avenue flat.
It was written in this letter that if he spoke against Shiv Sena, he would have to face dire consequences.
In the complaint, Navneet had alleged that the letter was sent by former Shiv Sena MPs Anandrao Adsul and Sanjay Raut.
Earlier in March, Rana had alleged that Shiv Sena MP Arvind Sawant had threatened me in the Lok Sabha lobby and jailed him for speaking against the Maharashtra government in the House.
