In ‘Sardar Udham Singh’ Shujit wanted to take Irfan, not Vicky, but the actor said – don’t wait for me

New Delhi Directed by Ballwood director Shoojit Sarkar, the film ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ has been released. Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushman Khurana starrer The film has been released on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video. There is a lot of craze among the fans regarding this film. This film was supposed to be released today on June 12, but the film has come on Amazon Prime Video only on June 11 before that. That is, the film has been released before the release date and time. At the same time, the post production work of director Shoojit Sarkar’s ‘Sardar Udham Singh’ has also started. In this film, ‘Uri’ actor Vicky Kaushal is in the lead role. But did you know that Vicky was not her first choice for this film.   

Shoojit Sircar’s first choice for the film ‘Sardar Udham Singh’ was the late actor Irrfan Khan. He wanted to make this film with Irrfan. Talking to Mid-Day, Shoojit Sarkar said, “Irfan Khan was not his first choice for Sardar Udham Singh” but Vicky Kaushal. Shoojit was also ready to wait for Irrfan Khan for the film, but the actor himself told him not to wait. After which Vicky Kaushal was finalized for the film. 

Let us tell you that on 29 April, Irfan Khan died after a long illness. At the same time, his ‘English Medium’ film was released on 13 March. His film was well received by the audience. However, the film could not get much benefit due to Corona.

Talking about Irfan Khan’s workfront, he has worked not only in Bollywood but also in Hollywood. His first film was Salaam Bombay in 1988. The film was directed by Meera Nair. After this, he made several films’ Kamal ki Mauti ‘,’ Darshan ‘,’ Death of a Doctor ‘,’ Kasur ‘,’ Achta ‘,’ Tulsi ‘,’ Piku ‘,’ English Medium ” Paan Singh Tomar ‘,’ The Lunchbox ‘,’ Talwar ‘,’ Life of Pi ‘,’ Mumbai Meri Jaan ‘,’ Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns’, ‘Hindi Medium’, ‘Maqbool’ showed his powerful acting.
