India’s first day-night Test match could be held at the historic Eden Gardens in Kolkata. However, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCC) is yet to agree on this.
BCB cricket operations chairman Akram Khan told reporters, “He (BCCI) has given us (a day-night test) proposal and we will let them know after discussing it.”
He said, ‘We have received a letter in this regard two-three days ago and we will make a decision in this regard. But we have not discussed it (yet). We will make them aware of our decision within a day or two.
BCCI President Sourav Ganguly said on Friday that Indian captain Virat Kohli agrees with the idea of playing Test day and night and India can play Test day and night soon.
