Haridwar Kumbh Mela 2021: Devotees will not have to spend the night in the open, 10 temporary night shelters ready

In Kumbh Mela 2021(Mahakumbh), all facilities of devotees coming for the Ganga bath are being taken care of.

For the convenience of devotees in Kumbh Mela 2021, 10 temporary night shelters in Haridwar and Rishikesh have been prepared.

Arrangements have been made for the stay of 1800 pilgrims in the rain shelters built at a cost of about 3.5 crores.

The devotees coming to the Mahakumbh will not be forced to spend the night under the open sky due to lack of room or hotel room or lack of money.

The city currently has only three permanent night shelters. The capacity of these night shelters is around 200.

Free accommodation for passengers is provided in night shelters. This system was inadequate in view of Kumbh Mela 2021(Mahakumbh).

Therefore, the Mela administration has constructed 10 temporary night shelters in Haridwar and Rishikesh at a cost of 3.5 crores.

Eight-night shelters Haridwar and one rain shelter each have been built in Rishikesh and Munikireti.

The capacity of temporary night shelters has been kept from 100 to 200 beds. These night shelters have improved beds with beds and are fitted with fans. Cleanliness is better.

The Kumbh Mela 2021 area has 10 temporary night shelters with a capacity of 1800 passengers.

Eight-night shelters have been prepared in Haridwar and two in Rishikesh and Muni ki Reti. If needed, the number of night shelters will be increased as per the availability of land.
