Forcible Collision In Train-Bus In Pakistan’s Sindh Province, 20 Killed, 60 Injured

A passenger bus and train collided head-on in Pakistan’s Sindh province. At least 20 passengers were killed and more than 60 injured in the accident. The injured have been admitted to nearby hospitals. The condition of some of the injured is quite serious. A police officer said that the accident took place on Friday night near Rohri railway station in Sukkur district. According to Don’s news, the number of people who died and injured could increase. Therefore, the number of deaths can increase. Rescue work is going on the spot.

Accident at unmanned railway crossing

Let me tell you that a traveling bus crashed at unmanned railway crossing near Pakistan Express Rohdi railway station going from Karachi to Rawalpindi. It carried 20 passengers. The police officer said the collision was so strong that the bus was split into three parts. Sukkur Commissioner Shafiq Ahmed Mahesar said that this is a major tragedy and all the administration and police officers are on the scene. He said that it was an unmanned railway crossing. There was nothing to stop the traffic on the spot. Sukkur District Health Officer Munir Mangario confirmed that the victims included five women and nine men.

According to Dawn News report, Murad Ali Shah, the Chief Minister of Sindh Province, has declared an emergency in all hospitals in Khairpur. According to the report, instructions have been given to the authorities concerned to ensure adequate medicines and blood for the injured in the incident. Meanwhile, the spokesman of the Pakistan Railways Ministry said that the train engine was damaged in the collision. The spokesperson said that the assistant driver of the train sustained injuries. Although the passengers on the train are safe. He said that Pakistan Railways has 2,470 unmanned crossings. For this, the Ministry has written several times to the provincial governments
