Most people are fond of raising dog, cat or other pets. It has been proved in many studies that keeping a stomach at home works to reduce your stress. When you are tense, just play with your stomach for 10 minutes or spend time, your stress will reduce to a great extent.

In an investigation recently released by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), it has been said that keeping the house at bay can make you a victim of infections on which antibiotics also prove ineffective.

According to the CDC, 30 people have been identified who are suffering from certain types of bacterial infections and most antibiotics are proving to be ineffective. Investigations of these people have revealed that all of them were in touch with pets in some way, especially those that have been brought from the pet store.

All these 30 people are from 13 different states and 4 of them were in such a condition that they had to be admitted to the hospital. However, the good news is that no one has died.

This rare infection or strain is called Campylobacter jejuni. Unlike some other rare Campylobacter, which usually results from eating raw or undercooked hen’s meat, or from other similar foods. Antibiotics prove ineffective on these or do not work to the best of their ability.

In two separate reports in November this year, the CDC said that the number of people dying due to antibiotic resistant infections is increasing rapidly. Superbugs are believed to be the cause of these infections.

Researchers say that if a papi or dog is a victim of Campylobacter infection, the bacteria along with their fur make their way into the house air. This causes it to enter the human body through the mouth and breath.
