New Delhi The 67th National Film Awards were announced on Monday, in which late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s film Chhichhore was adjudged the Best Hindi Feature Film. The film’s producer Sajid Nadiadwala dedicated the award to Sushant, remembering the actor.
Chhichhore was released in 2019. The film was directed by Nitesh Tiwari. Shraddha Kapoor, Varun Sharma and Tahir Raj Bhasin played the lead characters in the film along with Sushant. Sajid Nadiadwala said in a statement- “On behalf of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, I dedicate this very prestigious award to Sushant Singh Rajput. We will never emerge from this loss, but I sincerely pray that this award will bring a little joy to his family and fans, including myself and I am very grateful to Nitesh Tiwari for giving us this very special film. . “
Chhichhore will be remembered for Sushant’s finest performance. The film was also a success at the box office. The story of Chichhore mainly gives the message of never giving up in life. In this film, all the main characters including Sushant were shown at two stages of age. First, when he is a college student and second when he has reached the middle age and is struggling with the challenges of his life. It is also a sad coincidence that Sushant, who gave a strong message against Suicide in Chichhore, also died in very tragic circumstances.
Let me tell you, Sushant died on 14 June last year. His dead body was found at his Bandra residence. Not only his fans, but the entire film industry was shocked by Sushant’s death. His death is currently under investigation by the CBI. Sushant’s fans are also excited about Chichhore winning the National Award.
