The team of Kings XI Punjab will be in the auction to be held on December 19 with an amount of 42.70 crores, which is the highest among all eight teams.

According to a BCCI statement, ‘Kings XI Punjab has the highest’ salary cap ‘available for auction, while Royal Challengers Bangalore has the highest number of players (12) available (including six overseas players). Chennai Super Kings have the biggest team (20 players) after the deadline.
According to this, ‘Royal Challenger Bangalore (12) has released the maximum number of players out of eight franchises, while Sunrisers Hyderabad (5) has removed the least number of players from their team.’ Rajasthan Royals have released 11 players and announced that Australia’s star batsman Steve Smith will continue to lead the team.
